Dr. Stanley G. grew up in a project building on the south side of Chicago where he spent many days playing chess, pitching pennies and dodging street gangs.

His original career goal was to become a graphic artist but he pleaded temporary insanity and joined the Marine Corps instead. He considered that when plan A fails, you’ve still got 25 letters left in the alphabet; so he traded in the life of a devil dog for the life of a suit.

Somewhere through the middle of the alphabet, he trained as a lawyer, then as a doctor of accounting. As one might reasonably conclude from all this alphabet soup, he finally ended up as an author.

Dr. Stanley G. lives in Chicago with his wife, LaTanya. They have three adult children.
